Diane Marie Gerwin Hill, 52, Sparks, Nevada died Tuesday, May 15, 2001 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Reno, Nevada.
Diane was born to Caroline and Milton Gerwin in Poughkeepsie, New York on July 4, 1948. She lived in Reno most of her life, graduating from Reno High 1n 1966 and Reno Business College in 1968. For the past 14 years, she had worked in the children’s section of the Sparks Branch of the Washoe County Library.
She was preceded in death by her father, Milton B. Gerwin in 1995.
She is survived by her husband Michael L. Hill, and son, Daniel Hill, both of Sparks, and son Andrew Hill of Reno. Also surviving are her mother, Caroline Gerwin and sister Karen Sass of Reno; sister, Donna Ott of Sparks; and sister, Tina Walberg of Reno, Nevada; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 20, 3:00 P.M. at First Congregational Church of Reno, 627 Sunnyside Drive.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations to be made in Diane’s memory to the Sparks Library, 1125 12th Street, Sparks, Nevada, 89431.
