Ellen H. Belmont, 51, of Sparks died Sept. 1, 1999, at Washoe Medical Center.
A native of Manhattan, N.Y., she was born April 21, 1948, to Jack J. And Hellen V.(Emsworth) Hartshorne and had lived n Sparks for the past 36 years, coming from New York.
Mrs. Belmont was a computer operator for an airplane components company and a member of the Catholic church.
Surviving are husband, Albert, daughter, Ellen Farley, and brother Vincent Hartshorne, all of Sparks; brother Tom Hartshorne of Boca Raton, Fla,; and two grandchildren.
A memorial mass is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
Cremation will be at Sierra Crematory, under the direction of John Sparks Memorial Cremation and Burial Society.
A memorial fund is being established with Bud Beasley Elementary School - Athletic Fund, 2100 Canyon Parkway, Sparks 89436.
