Gene Samuel Talucci, a resident of Fresno, Calif. since 1989, passed away at the age of 48 on October 6, 1996.
Although Gene’s life came to an end at a young age, his experience and accomplishments were numerous. Gene enjoyed music as a talented drummer. He had a long career with Holiday Inn, Inc., was in management at Belmont and Fort Washington Country Clubs, and was a local restauranteur.
Gene was once a member of Rotary Club and received a Paul Fellow award. He had been active in the Fresno Convention and Visitor’s Bureau where he was past president. Gene loved cooking, was a certified chef, enjoyed photography, and was a sports enthusiast.
Gene had the ability to give individuals self worth and confidence and helped us laugh at ourselves.
His presence and love will be greatly missed. He is survived by his mother Alona Talucci of Reno, Nev,; sister Debbie Cooke of Redwood City, Calif.; twin brothers Dana and Dean Talucci of Reno; and numerous friends.
A memorial service was held in Fresno, Calif. under the direction of Heritage Funeral Services. His remains will be laid to rest in the Quinault Rain Forest of Washington.
