Mathew D. Wroblewski, 54, of Reno, Nevada, died Saturday, November 16, 2002, at Schurz, Nevada.
He lived in Reno since 1954 coming from Japan and Northern California. Mathew was a music minister at the Unity Church of Reno where he was also a member. He was a past member of the local band, The Surflords. He was a Class of ‘66 Reno High School graduate and worked for the US Bureau of Mines in Reno for 17 years as a Metallurgist and Sierra Environmental Monitoring as a chemist.
Preceded in death by is father, Mathew, October 23, 2002. Survivors include his mother, Clara, of Schurz, Nevada; 2 daughters, Tierney L. McClary and Lalena Jankowski, both of Reno, brother Scott of Reno, 1 niece, and 4 grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held Friday, Nov. 22, 2002, 2:00 PM, at Unity Church of Reno, 2207 Kings Row, Reno, Nev. A Visitation will be held at the Mountain View Mortuary, 425 Stoker Ave., Reno, also on Friday, Nov. 22, 2002, from noon - 1:30 PM. Internment will be private at the Northern Nevada Veterans Cemetery in Fernley, Nevada.
