Marsha Jean Mastroianni, 47, died April 24, 1995, at her residence.
A Reno native, she was born April 8, 1948, to Pio A. and Virginia E. Mastroianni, and had lived in Reno for many years.
Mrs. Mastroianni was a professional dancer for Pacific Far East Lines and performed in “Hello Hollywood, Hello” at the former MGM Grand-Reno and the Frisco Follies. She also worked for R. Herz Brothers.
A graduate of San Dominico High School, San Rafael, Calif., Mrs Mastroianni attended the University of Utah, Salt Lake City, and the University of Nevada, Reno.
Her father died June 24, 1985.
Surviving are husband Peter Raymond Cortez, brother Bernie Mastroianni, and mother, all of Reno, and one nephew.
A memorial service is scheduled for 3 p.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church.
Cremation will be at Sierra Crematory under the direction of Walton Funeral Home, Reno.
A memorial is being established with the Nevada Humane Society, P.O. Box KIND, Sparks, 89432.
