Oh yea, great class. Still use it to this day. I do almost all the cooking at home. That's how I keep my girlish figure. I also remember other things about that class and what she would do. Do you?

I didn't think we should talk about that kind of stuff on the message forum lol.

I talked to Jim Booth today. Gave him the address and how to find this place. ( by the way, Thanks Layne. ) So it's up him.

Camping, Floating and Pontooning. unless it rains then mostly camping. Over the years I have collected enough crap that I could camp in a monsoon and survive. Camping in the rain is still better than being stuck in the house for a whole weekend. Have fun everyone.

Well, I hate to brag about my plans for Memorial Day weekend, but I will anyway........I'm taking my daughter and her friend on a cruise for their 18th birthday. We are going to Jamaica and Grand Cayman Islands and I plan to be a sun Godess for 7 whole days!

Can I hide in your luggage? I don't eat much and I'm really quiet. OK maybe not quiet, but I do clean up after myself, uh well I don't eat much. CAN I GO?

NOW THAT'S AN IDEA!!! If we could get that together i would be in for that. OR, Let's all to go Cancun at an all inclusive hotel for a week. That is Fun for EVERYONE. We would do that too.

You know it would be do able. We would all have 5 years to plan and save, oh what am I thinking we can only get 52 classmates to respond to 25th. But we could get a group rate. I would settle for going back down to Fort Walton.

I was just talking about Fort Walton last week. That's an awesome idea. It wouldn't really cost that much and we could get a group rate on a hotel. And maybe this time I could get into Cash's. Think of it, all of us old fogies acting like we were back in high school again, except we would all be in bed at 9 and complaining about the stupid kids partying and making too much noise. Now that sounds like fun, I'm in.

Fort Walton sounds great and frankly, so does taking a cruise. Even Vegas could be a hoot!

And we do have 5 years to plan/save/arrange so let's go for it! No reason we couldn't still do a local picnic for those who can't make the bigger event.

And if we decide to downsize, well there is always the Branson Belle. LOL

Ok, so who's going to organize? Who's going to plan and make arrangements and so on? We are in, for anything.

05/17/09 11:17 PM #73

why don't we talk about it at the 25th

Gary Fortney

Yes, Let's get this out of the way first. You guys are going to have a hard time getting your 25 bucks per head out of this let alone possibly 600 or more.

I'm all for a cruise for the next reunion. Do it the right way, and you can go for around $500 and that's your room and food for 5 days! Carnival is cheapest.
Gary, how did you remember the name of that bar in Fort Walton? Maybe the same way I remember that I can't drink Long Island Teas? I remember taking a whole can of Sprite and pouring it into a Long Island Tea at the hotel bar and still not being able to drink it! Do you remember the girls that were in our hotel from New Orleans and they spoke Cajun? I could not even understand them.

I remember because I couldn't get in. I was only 17 and didn't turn 18 til the next week and it sucked. The rest of us had to go to the Hog's Breath. It was a great time too. I don't remember the girls cause other than the bar I don't remember much. 17 and alcohol tends to black things out.

Hi All- It's been so much fun reading the profiles. It sounds like life is treating everyone well.

I've done some checking on this trip thing. You can only book up to two years in advance. Something else to consider is an all-inclusive resort. They include air from STL, food, liquor, gratuities and airport transfers. You can almost pay for the trip and leave your wallet at home. I've seen these from 500.00 to 600.00 per person.

We haven't even got this reunion done and we're already planning the next one. I like it. All-inclusive is the way to go. Except I don't think they have any in this country. And if that's true then dang it, we have to go to the Caribbean. Sun, sand, all you can eat. Let's get this one done first and have Everybody show up. Angie, put some pics up, we would love to see you.

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND EVERYONE, AND BE SAFE. GOING CAMPING FOR 4 DAYS RAIN OR SHINE. IT'S LOOKING LIKE RAIN BUT WE DON'T CARE. BUILT ALOT OF STUFF UP OVER THE YEARS AND COULD SURVIVE ANYTHING. HOPE TO POST PICS OF THE WEEKEND FOR THOSE WHO COULDN'T GET OUT. BE CAREFUL OUT THERE IDIOTS ARE BEHIND THE WHEEL. WELL, I WONT BE BUT THERE IS MORE THAN ONE.

Well did everyone one have a good weekend? Did you do what you wanted? I did, even tho it rained. Still beats sitting in the house all weekend wishing I would have done something.
