KEVIN GLASSON

Worked in the high end Audio industry for 8 years (Infinity, Nakamichi, JBL). Then switched to a Defense Contractor for a few years until the FBI seized and removed a dozen file cabinets and I realized I needed a new job. Joined the staff at CSU, Northridge in October 1990. Started as a repair tech, then Studio Tech, then Supervisor, then AV Systems Designer. Bought a house in Santa Clarita, got married, no kids, just several cats that we lavish with attention and love.

I was a Math major. Tim Kafesjian (sp?) and I were the only 11th graders in our Trig class. When all the rest of the Seniors in our class graduated, they refused to open a Math class for the two of us. They decided that Computer Programming was a Math Elective, so they stuck us in there for one semester, in order to let another class of Math majors catch up to us. The computer that Mr. Maxwell wanted us to learn wasn't the one the rest of the class was learning, we got to use the teletype terminal in the teacher resource room, where the stinky mimeograph machine was also located. It had a paper tape reader/writer and we played Star Trek on it. It was a small 8K program that because of the slow speed of the paper tape reader, took 15-20 minutes just to load the game!
