Wow, what a trip to "see" so many people after almost 30 years...I don't think I was as active in high school as most of my classmates because I was getting out of school early on work credit and going to work. I think by my senior year I was out of school at 10am and going to work almost full time.
As a result, I have often wondered if anyone would even remember who I am....do you?? Janelle Stemme and I were best friends and used to hang together - sometimes joined by Lisa Pfister and Kris Venables.
Shortly after graduation, I packed up and moved to Spokane, Washington, and have been here ever since. (actually live in Nine Mile Falls, about 20 miles outside of Spokane).
I was a stay-at-home mom for 10 years until I went through a divorce and then went back to school at the age of 40. (sure would've been a whole lot easier to go to college right out of high school than at 40 something, but...ah well!)
I earned my AAS degree as a legal assistant and landed the job of my dreams with the federal prosecutor's office.
I have two great kids (Bryan, almost 17 and an Eagle Scout; and Danielle, almost 16). Both my kids are so much more involved in school than I ever was. Their class size is so much smaller than mine was too,and I think that makes a big difference. Both are very involved in sports, band, and jazz band (yeah, I gave birth to band geeks. LOL!).
Thanks for creating this site - even though most probably don't remember me, I do remember you and it's pretty cool to see what everyone ended up doing with their lives.
:)
