I first met Shelia at the start of our 8th grade school year when all the other 7th graders came up from Greenville Ave.  She was in several of my classes and due to our last names frequently sat either behind me or very near me.  I remember her as being very smart and competitive in the classroom.  She had a ready, winsome smile and a "fun to be around" personality.  I know she was in the band for all four of her high school years and was one of the band majorettes her senior year.  I am hoping several of her band mates will add their remembrances of Shelia for the rest of us to enjoy.  She will be missed at our upcoming reunion.

Shelia and I were majorettes together,    She was always so pleasant and a pleasure to be around,  I did know that she had passed away some time ago, and was so surprised and saddened.  What a kind smile and good personality she had!   Such a sweet person!
