WE all agree that Bill was a great guy...big smile & always lots of fun!  It's difficult to lose those that make up our past, but Bill has that big smile in heaven with his son!  What a happy thought!

Bill shared many life experiences with me and our fellow football teammates during our high school years.  He worked hard, was conscientious  and had a super great personality that pretty much kept us all grinning if not out right laughing.  That kind of spirit is hard to replace and when it is gone, the world is truly left with a big hole.  We weren't close buddies but I am glad to be able to call him my friend.  He will be fondly remembered but missed at our future reunions.  So sorry we live so far away as I would love to be with many of you who will be attending his funeral service tomorrow.

John

When the 50th reunion committee members met for the first time in Richardson, Bill stopped by    I had not seen him yet, and he surprised me when he gave me the warmest bear hug.    Then in June I thought his grief over his son is why he seemed so sad, which of course would be understandable but I had no idea he was so sick.   He was truly one of the warmest, kindest souls I have ever known.  He touched my heart.

I just found out that Bill passed away and I am heartbroken.  He has been my friend since we were very very young.   I have not been on my computer for days and did not see the obituary.  I would have most definitely been at the Memorial.  He was so special and will be missed so much.  Loved that smile.  I have lots of wonderful memories. Heaven received a great guy.
