Ben, happy birthday and Thanksgiving. I'm pleased to see you're still kicking. Second what Dwight Totten wrote about gratitude that you recognize others.
Gary, happy birthday. I would like to see some of your photographs, but was unable to find your Facebook page. Do you have them posted somewhere?

Hey, Holland. Happy birthday. I celebrated the big 8 0 in December and told myself that after 65 I was a senior citizen. But surely making 80 fully qualifies you as an old man. It seems not that long ago on West Shore.
This is Bill’s son, Justin, with his girlfriend in Austin. He has two sons - 0ne starting college soon.
Best to you and yours.
Hello,
This hits me hard. John was my first friend at RHS. In fact, we were friends before I transferred to RHS from WW Samuels HS in Dallas. I talked with him about what things were like at Richardson, and he was very upbeat. We were in the band together. I think he played the trombone, but I'm not certain.
I remember John's kindness, decency, and his down-to-earth approach to things. He was proud to have built a business and to have sold before he and his wife took their wonderful trips. You can see some of his photographs, accessed by a link to the left of this page.
My best to John's family and his other friends. Rest in peace, John.

Hey, Ben. You beat me to the planet by a week. So. Happy birthday, Old(er) Man.
I like what Julien wrote: " . . . a model of an all around great guy." John was a noble man. A leader in general, and in morals and ethics. He stood by his principles not with rigidity, but with kindness and understanding. The planet, and we who knew him have lost someone important. I cannot imagine John saying or doing anything base or unkind. I pray for his family. There is no easy way through this.

Holland, happy birthday. At our age, it's an event worth noting. Sorry I was late. I hope you're thriving and happy.
A man of character. I think you must have always been a good guy. It's good to see you have another milestone roll around, especially since you're a week ahead of me. Happy birthday, Ben.
I think we get glimpses of Paradise from time-to-time while we're still on this planet. Here is one of mine. Donahue Pass in August 2003 on the John Muir Trail in Yosemite. Elevation: 11,056'.
