Both of Pete's parents live in North Richland, and my parents live in West. We are planning on moving to Richland once our girls are finally out of the house for good. That should be in about 3 years or so...
Married Pete Bono on Oct 27,1990. We are still married, so that makes it 19 years now - going on the big 20...
2 daughters - and thankfully no grandchildren yet...
Unemployed - but looking...in administration
When Pete was in the Navy I started my own childcare business to help ends meet. After a year of that I didn't work for years to stay home with my girls while he was out to sea a lot. When we moved back to the Tri-Cities I worked at Fred Meyer for a couple of years. Then I was employed by my church to work in the Children's Ministry for a number of years. Most recently, I worked at Edward Jones as a Branch Office Administrator.
Pete works at Energy Northwest.
Didn't have a clear vision, but definitely didn't think I'd have gotten married and have kids so young...
Pete served from Aug 1990 to Aug 1996 as a Navy Nuke serving on the USS Parche (SSN683).
Read, flower garden, relax.
Apr 30th. I feel a lot younger than I am. And YES - tons of long gray hair. I am seriously thinking about dyeing it for the first time ever.
We like to spend as much time as possible camping in the mountains. Mt. Rainier is hands down our favorite, as we love to hike and the best trails are in the Park. That mountain is God's gift to the Northwest.
We don't do a lot of vacationing, although it is a lot of fun to go back to New York City to visit Pete's family.
Maine for me - but for Pete much, much, much further away. Of course that is top secret info though...so we don't know exactly HOW far.
Egypt maybe...or New Zealand.
I met Erik Estrada at the Hard Rock in Hollywood. Not very exciting, I know...
I loved the warm summery days and walking across the campus to go to different classes...the school has been rebuilt, so that is not possible anymore. No more mixing area, no more big H, no more handprints at the bottom of the gym ramp. Very, very sad.
I also loved the friendships that were made passing time away in the grass between the gyms.
I hated the little "groups" that formed and the fact that some people had serious problems with being "stuck up". Unfortunately, I noticed at the 10 year reunion that those groups still exist and those people are still really stuck up...
I liked school for the most part. I never joined any one clique, and I got along with almost everyone. Of course, I loved hanging out in the smoking area...because that was where you could relax and just be yourself. I guess my favorite teachers would be Sevigny, Campbell, Staringer and Morgan.
I would have actually applied myself. I carried all those books home every day and never once actually cracked on open. To think of what grades I would have gotten if I actually TRIED...
Got married and moved all the way across the country to start a family.
A super young grandma with a bunch of little grandbaby boys (I hope - we have 13 girls and not a single boy in the family right now) to take to Disneyland and the Woodland Park Zoo, etc...
I can't think of anything.
That we managed to raise two awesome kids. They are both good students and they have great morals and ethics and totally stay out of trouble...
I don't know what we did to deserve them or what exactly we did right in raising them, but I am so thankful to God that he gave them to us!
