I was in the Navy from 1982-1993, so I got to live in a few different places. I was stationed in Norfolk (not very exciting-except Brandon was born here), Pearl Harbor, HI (loved it-Zachary was born here), London, England (loved it-I met Doug and got married here), the Azores (not so much-Bailey was born here) and now that I'm out, Northern Virginia. Now I sell real estate and love every minute of it. Sometimes really long hours and other times not so long. Great profession when you're also a full time car pooler. My husband is an executive vp for a consulting firm and my children are in different stages of their life. My oldest son, Brandon is still trying to figure out what he wants to do (I can't blame him, I was the same way), my middle son Zachary is in his 1st senior year at George Mason University and will hopefullly get that degree in finance by this time next year. My daughter, Bailey is a sophmore in high school and has kept me busier than someone with 5 kids. She swims on a club team, so we are up long before the break of dawn most mornings and rushing immediately after school back to the pool. In addition to that, she swims for the high school (15th in state in 200 IM and 100 breast-not bad for a sophmore) and she is running track and field. I also volunteer in my neighborhood-Pres of the HOA, manager of the neighborhood swimteam. Not alot of free time left, but loving life.
