Comments:

I have been employed by the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond since 1981. Married twice, divorced twice, and am now in a relationship with a great guy (Neil Tucker). We met at the Federal Reserve, and have been together for almost 12 years. I have 2 children, Michael who married last June to Erin (my new daughter-in-law who is great by the way), and Leslie (divorced) who has 1 child (Ian). Being a grandma is the greatest, I love to spoil the little guy. Don't get to see him as much as I would like though. They live in the mountains.
As far as keeping up with class mates, Lee Penny Davis is the only classmate that I have kept close contact with. Now I have to keep her close because she knows too much (lol). Her and I became close soon after High School, and try to make sure we stay in contact as life takes us in many directions.
Sonya Moorhead Reamy was my best friend in High School, and I do very much miss the closeness we shared back then. I have however been able to keep in touch with her, but as I have said before, sometimes life takes you in different directions (kids , grandkids, family and jobs) and you don't seem to have the time you use to to spend together.
UPDATE: I am now the proud Great aunt of Identical twin boys. The new arrivals came on 7/3/2009. Their names are Owen and Carter. They are the Grandchildren of my brother. Hopefully I will be loading new pix soon.
Update: My pomeranian passed away on the 28th of August. She was 9.

School Story:

Let's see, I remember running from the cafeteria 2nd period, to the top of the round building 3rd period, stoping briefly at my locker for books, and I still made it to class on time!! Don't know how my daughter could not make it (on time) when her class was 10 feet away from the other. Anyway, Rifle Squad was what I loved. The parades, football games, and yes of course the trip to Florida. My best friend in the whole world was Sonya Moorhead. We spent a lot of time running the streets in her HONDA, and skipping school (oh did I say that). Okay I skipped a few classes. It was a great time in my life. Sadly life steped in, and we could not see as much of each other as I would have liked.
Karen Leighton was another of my very good friends who I have not been able to keep up with.
I remember being laughed at by Mike Braswell (freshman at the time) as he passed my English class catching me sleeping many times!!! Who knew we would end up married. Even though we divorced we still keep in contact. He is a great guy, one of my very best friends.
I remember John Waters called all the ladies BETTY.
Barbara Wills, what a great voice. She would have nailed American Idol hands down!
