Hey there Hope Everyone has a Wonderful Holiday. I look so forward to the 30th year Reunion. I just can't believe it has been that long. Sometimes I wish I could go back. I think having it in Varina is a Great Choice. Donna has a great place for a reunion. It will be fun. Searching for classmates is tough, but fun! Usually word of mouth is the best way. I have been searching for alumni on Facebook, MySpace and via www.pipl.com . Please, if anybody wants to take it on, just see who's missing on our classmate profiles listing. Those who do not have a profile need to be found and encouraged to join whether they plan on attending the reunion or not.

Karen Zeno (Spurlin) I just wanted to thank the reunion committee in doing such a great job with the reunion party. Sorry I was such a party pooper, but my body won't let me do what I used to be able to do when I was much younger. I loved seeing everyone (sorry I missed some of y'all)! I still say that the Class of '79 was the best class EVER at Varina High School!! Love you all!

Joe Inge Thanks for all of the hard work the volunteers put into this event. The Reunion was a blast! I am thinking of going to other people's reunions now; but, I am sure they won't be as much fun. Joe

Venues for 35th reunion: Checked the website for Dorey Park. The County charges lots of fees starting with the room, which holds 150 folks, to use of the kitchen, having alcohol on premises and off-duty police officer and a security deposit. A co-worker suggested the Artworks place on 14th Street. Said it's a great place for a class reunion and only 5 minute cab ride to the downtown hotels. I can set up a tour of the place if this is a place of interest.

Also, checked the website(s) for a photo booth. They run from $900-$1000 for 4 hours and there is additional fees for the attendant and props, etc. Probably not going to happen due to our funds, but I thought it would be a fun thing to have.
