After graduating from Emory Univ in Atlanta, I married, moved to Mississippi, and had two daughters. My husband, Rickey, died in 1990 of a brain tumor. I remarried in 1994. My husband, Larry, has two daughters, and we have 9 grandchildren ranging in age from 6 to 13. Five live in jackson, 2 in Charlotte, and 2 in Nashville.
I worked for 35 years for BellSouth telecommunications in HR, network, business offices, and regulatory. When I retired, I was vice pres of regulatory and legislative affairs, responsible for lobbying Ms Congessmen and coordinating with the Ms Public Service Commission.
Since we have retired, we have travelled extensively, including China, Australia and New Zealand, Africa, South America, Antarctica, and most of Europe. We are still working on our bucket list!
So sorry I will miss the reunion but we had already planned a trip that conflicts with the dates. Know it will be great!

Porter and I grew up on Winfrey Road in Glen Allen, and we went to school together through high school. Our families both attended Greenwood United Methodist church. Porter was a kind, sweet soul.
