Just reading some of the school memories. Stuff about gravel pits, hot tubs, riots, etc..

Where was I at during all that stuff, all I remember is staying home and studying for school all the time........

Ben...Right...I remember all those nights you stayed home studying. You could have earned a degree with all the AP courses you took: Gravel Pits Crash Course, Postoffice Parking for Dummies, Pool Sharks 101, Guzzling done right, ect.

LOL!

What dates are we looking at for the reunion? If its fall we should go to a home foot ball game!

Jennifer: I seem to remember a funnel up on that roof...what was that for again?

Heather: I don't think this reunion would be complete without a hottub somewhere!

HI Allison!
First off, Ben suffers from delusion at times, as do many males!

Second, why in the hell would you leave the education world??? I mean, we are highly paid to play with kids all day, get three months off during the summer (HA!), and have such a small amount of paperwork to be accountable for!! I hope you find more peace at nursing. David's wife, Tonia, only found the same situation just at a different level. She has two bachelor's degrees, one masters and is working in a field she doesn't have any degree in!!! I can completely understand though.

And LAST BUT NOT LEAST, THANK GOD FOR PORTABLE HOT TUBS!!! We can put one wherever the hell we want to!!

Reba-
Delusional yes, but hey we still love him! (Ben that is).

I know I left the calmest wonderful atmosphere of teaching 15-21 year olds with raging hormones and the best attitudes around. And on top of that I got paid the BIG bucks.

Nursing so far is wonderful. I love labor and delivery. I want to work with that same crazy group of low income, high attitude, young (15-17) year olds that have found themselves in a pickle. I plan to work at LSU so I will still see my ex students at RHS. LOL.

Where is Tonia working these days...I know she was fed up with Schumpert last time I talked to her.

And yes, portable or not we HAVE to have a hot tub for the reunion!!!

Tonia is doing accounting for a small oil company and getting paid more per hour than she was in nursing. I think she enjoys being in control of her environment. She would have been an outstanding nursing supervisor. I think her intentions were to go back for nurse practitioner, and she would certainly succeed! It is the little things out of her control that drive her nuts. Best of luck to you! Nursing tends to be similar to teaching; if you could remove/replace some parents the child would prosper. The state of our youth is so very sad. I see it in first grade.

That response was from REBA!! NOT BEN!! I just clicked on the website and it logged in his name. Ya'll will have to learn to distinguish between Ben and Reba posts. Hopefully it won't be too challenging.

Somebody help me out. Trey's a freshman at Parkway. Tonight is Homecoming. The girls corsage was $60. They are riding in a LIMO as a group, that was $60 a head. Coupla hundred for Trey's clothes and stuff. Dinner at Shogun $80. He's a freshman at Homecoming, is this all a bunch of BS or am I just crazy. What will they expect for their senior prom, a frigging LEAR JET to Pari' for dinner ? I guess times have just changed. I'll soon be 38 and I've never ridden in a limo and don't think I've missed anything.

So that's my rant this Saturday, tell me I'm right tell me I'm wrong.

And just for the record THIS IS a Ben post....

I think I'll go make myself a strong drink!!!
