Hi everyone, I couldn't make it to the reunion but I sure wish I could be there. My work is having an ASEV (Aircrew Standardization
and Evaluation) inspection, so there was no way that I could get away. I hope everyone is having fun though! I finally got my associates degree and now on to my bachelors. I'm getting that through Ashford University and will have it a year. I'm on the fence whether I should stay in or get out. If I can't get hired before my separation date then I will be forced to stay in. The job market sucks right now and I don't think I can have a comfortable life if I loose my income.
After High School I worked at Taco Bell for just over a year and decided I wanted something more. I went in the Air Force and still am. I'm a Staff Sergeant and stationed at MacDill AFB in Tampa, Fl. This March will be 9 years in but come Mar 2010 I will be out. I have chosen not to reenlist, I want to work for the FAA. I'm 1 class away from getting my Associates Degree. Okay so being in the military makes it challenging to fit the time in to get a degree, that's why it's taken me this long. I have a beautiful daughter who is 3 years old. I have been married for 5 years to my husband Ken, we met at my first duty station in Tucson, Az. He is also in the Air Force and 3 years till retirement. I hope I can make it to the reunion.
