Married Mike, met on a blind date while in nursing school in Miami in 1971,married in 1972, moved to Decatur, Il in 1974. Mike was at Homestead Air Force Base when we met. Decatur was his home. Have two grown sons. Jeff, our oldest son is a Deputy with the McHenry County Sheriffs Dept in Woodstock,Il. His wife,Tara, is from there. They have a daughter Georgia Grace,the sweetist granddaughter ever. Our youngest son is in Decatur. He is a dispatcher with Norfolk and Southern Railroad. I worked part time while raising our family. I have worked the past 23 yrs with the same physician.Great job that I really enjoy.Mike retired one yr ago, and makes an excellent house husband. Mike and I travel when we can. Enjoy going to the beach at Panama City or Ft Meyers. taking cruises,etc and occ get to south florida. Just did 15 days to Alaska in June of last yr. I still remain close friends with Ginny Kidd Franklin, class of 1971 .Mike and I still have good health,just my bright red hair is now naturally frosty looking with white hi-lights . Susie Goodrich Funston talk and visit when we can. UPDATE March 2019 Retired in Dec. 2016, enjoy that retired life. We do spend winters on Hutchinson Island at Jensen Beach. We stay January and February. Really enjoy that warm winter weather. Got to meet up with Cheryl Oliver this winter and also Bonni and Don Titcomb.
