Andy Moody

Started my Police Career as a patrolman for about six and half years then spent the next 17 years in investigations. The last tens years of that I was in charge of the Investigative Unit. The last few years of service I was the Special Operations Captain. I was in charge of the Special Response Team, School Resource Offiecrs, Department's IT and Evidence Custodian. I retired in May 2008 with 30 years of service. I enjoyed serving the citizens of Roanoke Rapids but I knew that it was time to move on and let the younger guys have at it. Retirement lasted about three months. My wife was working me to hard at home so I went back to work. I now work in the District Attorney's Office reviewing case and getting them ready for trial.
