Moved back to NC in 2008 to be within driving distance of my perfect Granddaughters. I lived in San Diego for 15 years -- which truly is America's Finest City... but it's GREAT to be back in the second best state of NC --- if I ignore the mosquitoes, humidity, arctic chill, and the cops pulling me over for speeding.

Going all the way back to 1st grade at Rosemary-I was on crutches once and had to pee really bad. I was too shy to get up with the crutches during class, so I just sat there until I couldn't hold it anymore and peed at my desk. I got a valentines card from a boy that had a lot of glitter on it. I fell in love with him and I still hope to marry him someday. Girls like glitter.
2nd grade-We had a contest to see who would learn their multiplication table (times table) first. I was sad when Lynn Scott won -only because she was called on before me. Sc -Scott came before St - Stone on the roll. She won a silver hair barrette. I was happy for her because she was my best friend but jealous at the same time. I loved being at Rosemary and playing marbles in the dirt. I loved the Cheetos and milk at snack time.
I met Amy Sue at Clara Hearne in 6th grade and we definitely caused a bit of trouble and had fun!
Fell in love with Mr. Frazier at Chaloner Middle School. Hope to marry him someday too! I remember the clothes we all wore at Chaloner. Mini skirts and dresses so short they were called sizzle suits and had matching underwear.
High school ... fuzzy memories of Martha Robinson, Mike Greene, Martha McDonald, Lynn Burton, working with Karen Longmire...water skiing and being best friends with Tammy Lee ...in 9th grade I fell in love with Owen Holt. I was happy for Kathy Crumpler when she married him, but jealous at the same time. Hope to marry him someday.
