The money raised for Chuck's final expenses is now up to $450. A total of $3,000 needs to be raised. I'd like to thank those who have helped. You don't know what that means to a grieving family! God bless you.

The family is trying to raise funding for Chuck's final expenses on Go Fund Me. Several of us have given that which we can afford, but it isn't enough. The goal is $3,000. Thus far we've raised $355. I hope you'll help the family through this very tough time. Fundraiser by Sonia Ponte : Raise money for my uncle's final expense. (gofundme.com)
Thank you.

Amen, Gary!
Chuck was my close friend. He passed four days ago. I'm still numb about it. My heart goes out to his family an friens.
Chuck was my close friend. He passed four days ago. I'm still numb about it. My heart goes out to his family and friends. I've been thinking about so many good times. He was well known among the Cave Spring crowd. His passion for music led to the accumulation of two thousand album collection! His movie collection was so vast that it coul serve as a video library! He leaves behind a son, Justin, a daughter, Ashley, a sister, Sonia Lynn, and a brother-in-law, Stan. His death was somewhat out of the blue for me. I knew his health was in decline. I didn't know, however, that it was as bad as it turned out to be. Three weeks ago we were sharing a quic meal in a local restaurant. He said that he han't been feeling right, but he didn't know what it was. I truly believed he would pull through. Instead, his health went into decline, and he passed away in ICU.
Based on his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, I have no doubt that he's in Heaven, overfilled with joy and more alive than ever. When Chuck's mom passed away a few years ago, one of his uncles said, "I know where my sister is now. Therefore, the only tears I weep WILL be tears of joy!".
And that says it all for me. I will spend the next several days looking back and remembering. Then I'll look forward to each day drawing me ever nearer to my home in Heaven, and seeing my dad, his family, and, of course, Chuck.
