My family moved to Roanoke two weeks before my senior year of high school. I felt welcomed into CSHS from the first day. I met Keith Myers the first week and he introduced me to the city and taught me how to get around. Roanoke quickly became my home.
After graduation I attended and graduated from Roanoke College (1983). I started my career in Social Work and never considered doing anything else!
Met and married a Marine in 1985, and 2 years later started our family. Two wonderful sons followed. Both are my greatest treasures. Still married to same guy 32 years later. Very happily married.
Recently moved to our dream house on 5 wooded acres in Roanoke Co., Va.
Both sons live in Roanoke, are home owners, employed, and neither have photos posted on the post office wall. Life is wonderful!
