Beth Finney (Webb) VIEW PROFILE

Beth Finney (Webb)

I just received a phone call from my dad (today 12/09/09) and he said that Beth Finney Webb passed away today. I was told that her father has been sick and she was traveling from Covington to Roanoke (I am guessing)to visit her dad. On her way home on Monday she became ill and went to the hospital. They airlifted her from Alleghany Hospital either last night or this morning to Lewis Gale Hospital. She died today (12/09/09). My dad said that he was told that she possibly died of kidney or intestinal problems. Beth was a friend of mine when we were in Elementary School. We use to spend every Friday night either at her house or mine. She will be sadly missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to her and her family.
Thanks,
Kathryn Jones Barrett

I certainly am saddened to hear this news. Beth and I went to Clearbrook Elementary together and we spent a lot of time at each other's house when we were younger. We remained friends all through high school She was a special person.

I just read this and am shocked and sad to read the news of Beth's passing away. We were friends since Junior High and lost touch after High School.  We were able to get back in touch a few years ago, but I had not heard from her in quite a while and now I know why. God Bless her and her family. I have so many good memories of her! She loved her family and was so proud to be a mother to her daughter and loved being a wife...and loved her job! My heart just breaks!

Beth gave me the biggest hug ever when we were at the 20th class reunion.  She will surely be missed.
