Jon and I lived in Va Beach right after we got married for about 8 months.

I worked at Allstate for about 10 years, most of which was before having children.

We have a cat named Gracie.

Love to read and still hooked on Hokie football.
We had a great time at the Chick-Fil-A Bowl last year. Most of our extended family are Hokie fans and the rest are UT fans. Needless to say it was a blast.

I met my husband Jon at VT in the fall of 1984. He was George Canale's roommate. We were married in 1988. Jon played Baseball at Tech and then was an Asst. Coach there until June 2006. I have been blessed to be a stay at home Mom for the most part, except for my preschool job which is great. I love it. Jon is now the Athletic Director at Cave Spring High School. Our son Jared is now a freshman at Radford. Taylor Grace will be graduating from Salem HS this spring. We are almost empty nesters. She is planning to study Dental Hygiene at VA Western.

I was blessed this year with the opportunity to work with my long time friend Angela Black Mithcell.
We are teaching the two year old class together and having a ball. Over the past 16 years I've had the pleasure of having the children of several Cave Spring alum in my classes.
