We're so excited to share with you the progress that has been made regarding Northside High School's Class of 1987 25th Reunion!
First of all, the Totally Tubular NHS 25th Weekend Reunion lineup (October 5th and 6th, 2012), follows:
Friday, Oct. 5, 2012
Homecoming Tailgate Party, 5:00 p.m. - end of game (around 10:00 p.m.) Raid and pillage the Viking stadium with that old Northside spirit!!! The Homecoming Parade begins at 5:30 p.m.; tailgating in the parking lot will commence at 5 p.m. Tables will be set up; please feel free to bring your favorite tailgating tastebud treats! The Viking concession stand will also be open, selling delicious hot dogs with chili. Please bring your beautiful spouse and lovely children to show off to that old crush who used to ignore you! After-hours shenanigans with old buddies still developing. :) The option for you to buy your Homecoming football game tickets in advance will be available in September.
Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012
Tour of the New, $28.3 million NHS Renovation: Starting at 11:00 a.m. Meet at the front entrance of your alma mater ... you will have fond memories of entering A Hall every morning. Your husband, wife, and/or children will be amazed by your tales of walking your Vans and stirrup pants behind the cafeteria to the smoking block or of sweating in May and June in the un-air-conditioned building! Bring your mom and dad; they'd love to see the new building that their tax dollars helped create!
25th Reunion Celebration: 7:00 p.m. - 1:00 a.m. Get your breakdance pants on! Pull out that old prom dress! Or, if they no longer fit, come as you are (just put something on!) and come share heavy hors d'oeurves and an open bar at Metamorphosis, at 402 Jefferson St., in downtown Roanoke (click here to check it out! http://schaalsevents.com/metamorphosis.php ). The cost is $65 per person, which includes everthing. After September 15, 2012, the cost will be $70 per person, so get your tickets soon!
All reservatiions and payments for the Saturday night celebration part of our reunion weekend can be made through this website (https://www.classcreator.com/Roanoke-VA-Northside-1987/index.cfm) through your credit card or your PayPal account.
We still, sadly, have not made contact with quite a few members of our class. If you could take a moment to forward this email to any old friends not on the Classmates Website, it would be greatly appreciated!
