Steph I haunt my house every night I am here I just dressed up in my costume and scared the crap out of my husband, child and 2 dogs.........but in the meantime there is this creepy place up off of Colorado in Salem its called the Haunted Asylum or something I will drive by tomorrow and post it. They have lines out the door every Halloween, I almost threw up going thru the kiddie haunted house at Maggies school (had to take the witch some hot water every hour)on Sat. Steve King (I think he graduated in 87, anyways he was one of the docs operating on the patient in the scary medical part and he keep calling out Maggies name everytime she walked thru) the people that put the haunted house together did frames and black curtains I mean it was creepy. I have not recovered since I went thru a haunted house at 18 and they keep touching me and had rats in the place OMG it was scary as crap.........ughhhhhhh but will keep you posted.

Greg - Trip was good, productive as always. I know exactly where Intercourse is...for those that do not, it's just up the road from Paradise...no kidding...they actually do a open air train ride between the two towns..anyone that has ever done the Thomas the Train in Strausburg...you probably did this.

Stoltzfus Meats is an excellent place to stock up. There are a few others, but I know some of the family that runs this place. Next time you're up I'll clue you in on some good places.

And Faye...you gotta catch the poopie to be able to look through the poopie...if you need something to do that, let me know...FREAL. I can hook you up. You can also take the lid of the 'mode, lift it, spread newspaper, then put the lid down...sucks, but yes, I have had to do it for patients. The main thing to honestly watch for is if that little sharp booger scrapes at her intestines and she starts having abdominal pain, tenderness, or a rigid board-like abdomen. If you notice any stool that may look like old blood (black, tarry, or coffee ground appearance), let the doc know. Bon Voyage!

Faye- HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIRL! Hope you have a great one. I was laughing when I read your post about how you were wearing your costume around the house. Sounds like you keep family life very interesting. I think I may know of the place you are referring to in Salem. Isn't it there all year around? I would appreciate the info. I haven't been in many years. I hope my heart can take it at this age. So are you not up for going back and getting groped again? It's just like being at Corned Beef on a good night.

DG GT- Where are you? You are never this quiet for this long. All I've got to say is BOW CHICKA WOW WOW, loved every minute of it. You know what I'm talking about.

Susie- I'm glad you're moving back. I 2nd what Jolee said about driving back with you. How fun would that trip be? You, Nikki, Jolee and I traveling half way across country? That would be so much fun. I can see it now. Let me know when you plan to make the trip. Can we go into Mexico before leaving TX?

My foster care dog, Elliott, is now addicted to Gold Bond Powder. It's the only thing stopping him from chewing off his body parts. I think he has some nervous energy or something.

Thanks guys for all the B-day wishes as I looked in the mirror this AM I scared myself because of the bags (under the eyes from lack of sleep from checking on Maggie all night) its a good day though, I get the day off from poop duty and yes Jolee I could use that thing because last night it was pulling it out of the water that made it even more difficult. My mom is freaking out calling the gastro doctor (she works at Lewis Gale) so I have a feeling it may be a trip to the dr today but will keep you posted.

Steph my poor husband has no chance.... he use to live such a quiet peaceful existance now his parents call me his tornado because I always have something going on......I could tell you some of the most hysterical stories about some of the things I have done to him. Our house is always got some crazy thing going on......its a riot all the time. About the haunted house, I don't know if the heart could take it I might like the groping part at my age I don't get groped nearly enough (kidding) but a heart attack at age 38 (gasp did i really say that) would not be good.......of course I could walk thru and scare people myself.........will keep you posted on the name of that place

Stefanie...I would love to tell you I'd go with you to a haunted house...but I am still recovering from the one you invited me to when we were in 6th grade! Remember...it was us and Paul and a friend of his(don't remember who). Your mom took us and waited while we went through...zombies were grabbing at us through bars and we were screaming and I don't think we ever let go of each other all the way! I have never been to another since! Guess I am a sissy.

Dean...look at the example you have set! All this talk about pole dancing and stripping...gees dude...be a role model...not a pole model!

Oh...whoever asked about John Morton...I talked to him about getting his hoodie and he told me if I would come by the firehouse to bring it that he would give me a free pole dance! So ladies...anyone want to make a day of delivering John's hoodie?

Stef --- I swear you have watched TOO much porn. I would have hoped that they would have updated the music by now!!! :) :) :) You crack me up! At least you still have the body for show. After 5 kids, my body is giving out, and I can't blame it!

Susie --- wanna race to see who makes it back to Roanoke before the other? I just hope that we don't have to make a pit stop at St. Louis, MO on the way! Do you know when you will come in for Christmas?

Happy Birthday Faye and to all of the others that I may have forgotten. I have been packing away spring/summer clothes and I have actually started my Christmas shopping. One kid is almost done, and I am waiting for the oldest 2 to finish up their list. I have to get it done early, because I am tired of my kids getting upset on Christmas Eve because there are no presents under the tree. (This waiting until the last minute is getting too stressful. So, I have learned from my mistakes and I have started early!)

Carla-You and I were talking about the haunted house the weekend of HC and I still don't remember it. I must have blocked it out. My mom must have been worried about her heart too. If we were in 6th grade then she would have been 34. Ok, now I guess I can understand her fears.

Faye- I'm with ya on the heart condition thing. Gosh, that's sad and scarey we have to think like that isn't it? I saw the place you were talking about today but didnt see any signs or anything for a haunted house.

Kristen-They could have changed the music in those flix by now, I wouldn't know, I still watch the same ones I've always watched. I like to support our fellow classmate, DJ GT.

Stef.... Of course we cna go to Mexico before we leave TX. That would be a blast! And Nikki would think that you guys came to just see her! And there is the BEST haunted house in downtown San Antonio. It's called Nightmare on Grayson's street. It's literally on Grayson's street and it's scary and the best and we go every year!

Kristen and Vicky...November 22nd? I want to go...have a drink for me and celebrate me being old!

Kristen..School is out on the 20th..so I am thinking of leaving that night and driving all night. It's 20 hours. My friend, Tim that is coming home from Iraq hopefully in the next 2 weeks may fly down and drive with me then drive back with me and fly home. I am hoping that's what he does. If he does I will stay until Jan 2nd..we will leave that morning because I have to be back on the 4th. I am keeping my fingers crossed that it all works out.

ok everyone gas is down to 2.12 here and about 40 minutes south of SA it's down to 1.99. I so hope it stays like that!

This time next week we have a NEW president! It's going to be interesting. My school here is a voting site and they are planning on record amounts. We have 3000 students and the ones that drive to school..Jrs are not allowed to drive that day only seniors due to parking. It's going to be a mess! Our school is doing a mock election..the kids are voting. It's really cool. They have the library set up just like the voting polls and the kids get the experience. We will see who they choose! They are really starting to spread their views. I just laugh at their opinions! They are truly 15 and 16 years old and really have NO clue!
