Vicky...sorry about your Grandma.
About the 26th... We are on a long private road and it's plowed, but still narrow with snow and with all the melting the ground will be mushy. I think the chances are high of people getting stuck. I am sorry, but we can still get together and have fun somewhere else. Buffalo Wild Wings is at Valleyview. I used to babysit the girl who manages it. I called her and and she told me that they are busy that day in the afternoon...but it may not be that bad in the evening. If we could get an idea how many we have coming, I would be glad to go early and start getting us some tables together. If you are interested please respond.

I can't make it the 26th because Steve is going out with his friends. (Keep an eye on him if you see him out!!!) As far as lunch goes, I am up for meeting everyone either Mon, Tues, or Wed. But, if Vicky is leaving on Wednesday, then maybe we can do it Mon or Tues.

What do ya'll think?

Chris Akers Merry Christmas! We're back in Raleigh now after the usual multi-family visit tour de force, so we're going to miss everyone tonight. Looking forward to some kind of NHS gathering in 2010!

Thanks everyone for the thoughts and prayers regarding the death of my grandmother.

Tim, thank you, and I read on a fb post from a classmate that spoke to Dave's mother, and at the time of the funeral they did not have any answers. I too have thought of him alot these past few weeks.

Glad everyone had a good time at BWW, just wasn't up for it...been a long few days.

Looking forward to lunch on Tuesday, hope anyone that is available can make it out. I have no time restraints :)

Hope everyone had a Merry Christams, looking forward to many more gatherings in 2010.

For those who have not heard, Jolee Clark's mom passed away early this afternoon. Simpson Tharp on Peters Creek is handling the arrangments and the viewing is Tuesday evening from 6 - 9 PM and the funeral will be on Wednesday at 11:00. I took some food over this evening from the class. Amy Foster and I will be going to her mom's to set up food for the family after the funeral on Wednesday so if anyone would like to send food you can bring to the funeral home on Wednesday or email or text me and I will meet with you to pick up to take to the family home. I am sure she would appreciate any texts, or emails to let her know you are thinking of her. Thanks NHS family, once again everyone pulls together in the midst of the sadness.

Definitely would love to see all of these people who are in...sorry I missed Vicky and Kristen...but you two are awesome for coming to the funeral home for my mom. As well as many, many, many others. I truly feel loved when I looked up and there was a whole group of Northside grads. Speechless. And that's a big deal for me! Spread the word, Metro! is the bomb for brunch. You can pull up their menu online if that helps. I don't get far past two bloody marys!

Hope everyone has a Happy New Year. Be safe and make wise choices (as I tell my girls). I'm actually looking forward to the downtime tonite as the past week has been hectic with all the traveling. We've decided to stay in and have the marathon game night with the family and eat junk until were stuffed piggies.

Kristen and Susie, safe travels back home this weekend.
KB-John is gone this upcoming week if you want to try and do a movie or something...really want to see Blind Side if you're up for it.
Suz-you just never know who may show up at your door in Texas..so ready for WARMTH..came home to no snow on the ground YES!! and then got up this morning to 3 more inches UGH!! I'm tired of being cold.

Trina you should be here to try our new Christmas present :) I still think we need to do the 40s to NYC next New Years Eve.

Carla, Faye, Kelly, Steve, Tara, Ron...good seeing all of you at lunch, and Erik good to see you also, hopefully next time under better circumstances.
