I just came across this site, and was wondering if you could add some information to my dad's (David Bownik) In Memory page. He passed away April 10, 2003. If you could maybe post what his obituary said (see below), I would really appreciate it!

"David Bownik of Longmont, formerly of Niwot (CO), passed away April 10, 2003 of cancer at the age of 56.

Mr. Bownik was born on Oct. 9, 1946 in Minneapolis to Henry J. and Lucille M. (Peters) Bownik. On Dec. 4, 1981 he married Cathy Hammett in Nederland, CO.

He graduated from Robbinsdale Senior High school in the Minneapolis area. In 1984 he moved to the Denver area from Minnesota. He lived in the Niwot/Longmont area for many years.

For the past 18 years Mr. Bownik was the chief estimator for TIC/ERS Constructors.

He was a member of Rocky Mountain Christian Church and the Niwot Community Association. He coached softball and basketball for Niwot Youth Sports for many years.

Mr. Bownik enjoyed hockey, fishing, cooking and the outdoors.

He will be remembered as a man who loved the Lord, his family, his friends, and his work.

Mr. Bownik was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Cathy; two daughters, Lindsay and Elisabeth Bownik; three brothers, his twin Don Bownik, Hank Bownik, and Tim Bownik; and one sister, Joanne Sogge."
