Obituary as printed in the May 27, 2012 Mpls. Star Tribune: Christiansen, Lee 66, passed away unexpectedly on May 23, 2012 due to complications from a dissecting brain aneurysm and a series of strokes. Preceded in death by parents, Phyllis and George. Lee is survived by his wife of 38 years, Kitty, the love of his life; his adored sons, Ben & Kevin, who made him proud: sister, Carol Nygaard and numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews. Lee was funny, affectionate, compassionate, genuine and generous with a helping hand. He was beloved by his family and a vast network of friends. He was admired for his easy-going nature and ability to find fun in life. Lee had a great life that included a gorgeous FL condo, lots of travel, fun cars and boats. Lee loved Maui and Singer Island. He grew up in Robbinsdale and lived in Linden Hills, Mpls. He graduated from Robbinsdale HS and the U of MN. Lee was a successful Edina Realty agent and rental property owner.
