I know she was fighting ovarian cancer for over a year. At one point in 2015 they thought her numbers were great and her chemo ended. Then in early 2016 she told me "the ugly C has reared its head again".

Ken texted us after it was all over to tell us. He and her boys were with her when she died at home while under hospice care.
