How does it go? Be careful what you wish for??
Wanted to be an artist, spent best part of my life doing just that; High School Art Classes[ all of them] Art School, Marine Corps [ drafted] 2 years, spent 1 year in VN as a Combat Artist.
Returned alive and in one piece. Next few years as an Art Director; 3M and Brown And Bigelow. after a very short practice marriage, back to graduate school [U of Iowa] [ sounds like I'm filling out a internet dating thing ]
Back to Mn , second marriage, two kids, etc], divorced in '95, built a log home next to my studio and have been painting and discovering since.
Discovered along the road; Serendiptity, fly fishing, cooking***, love to cook, gardening, golf, dancing [that was a/is good one], most recent, Yoga / Pilates and along with that some GREAT people. Appreciate sunsets more and more, same with sunrises. Have made some good friends along the way.
My philosophy nowadays tends too lean toward a variation of the old adage, "is the glass half full or half empty" , It;s gettin' down there, so I'm ready for refill..........
