Dianne fought for Life for 7 years until she had no more strength to battle. During her last years she was able to visit Hawaii, top of her bucket list, with her girls. Being adopted she had always wondered about her birth parents and possible siblings. Through the help of birth records and some sleuthing she was able to find her birth mother but that discovery ended badly due to bitterness, part dementia and bad timing. Few years later daughter Cara gave her a 23&Me package which she completed. Shortly time later she finally discovered that she had 2 Half-sisters. Barb and Pat in two different states. They were able to visit during her last year and another highlight in her life was completed. She was always bubbly even in pain and the Love of all our lives. She is missed every day. Bobbi Thorne Larson and Gary attended her funeral here in Michigan. Thanks for Caring, Steve and families

This just breaks my heart to know Dianne is gone.  I am so sorry she had such a battle but grateful she found two half sisters before she died.  Dianne and I were in 6th grade together at Adair School.  I was one of the shortest in class and she was one of the tallest.  Yes, I know.  Read on.  We were inseparable playmates when recess came.  I remember bouncing all around the playground arm in arm singing "We're off to see the Wizard..."  She was a doll.  Then we evidently went our separate ways.  Probably different junior high schools.  When we saw eachother again, she was tiny!  I had grown during junior high to finally reach five feet one inch.  Dianne had stopped growing in sixth grade.  I was astonished to discover that I was taller than she was! I also remember when word had it that she was with Steve Forrey.  What a happy match!  My sincere condolences to you, Steve, and your entire family.  What a loss for all of you.
