I live in Carolina, Puerto Rico, a suburb of San Juan with my youngest daughter, Pepi, our 12 year old dog and our cats Nemo and Yuki.
I work as an Administrative Officer for Scotia Insurance, a division of Scotiabank (One of Canada's largest international banks) They only have US branches in Puerto Rico.
I enjoy my job and I'm pretty good at it. Been in insurance Business for over 15 years.
Last Time, I was in the US Mainland was 2 years ago to send my oldest off to school at Ohio State before that it was 1984!!!!!!
Wow I have loads of stories. Lets see if some of you remember:
My Addidas floating down the Zumbro River.
AFS Parties LOTS of stories there.....
Decorating the Homecoming Queen's float Senior year
I can honestly say I enjoyed my time at JM
Taken the time to meet more of my fellow classmates.
I had several part-time jobs that I did'nt like but my time as a cashier at the skating rink by my house on Elton Hills stands out.
We had cars growing up WOW!!!!
Senior Prom 1976 with Mike Dapron.
Crazy, wild, accent speaking puertorrican.
Still the same but the descriptions are different Funloving, Friendly, Positive and for some strange reason I've lost the accent but always Very Proud to be a Puertorrican.
I wanted to be a nurse but ended in insurance. The important thing is I really love what I do so in the end I can't complain.
Time passes way to fast wish I held on to those special moments with my friend's longer.
The farthest I've traveled that I can remember was Europe in the summer of 1969 with my Grandma. Seeing I was born in Germany.
My Mom and Dad were influencial but my Grandma and my Uncle and Aunt were also special in my life. My Mom and Aunt have passed on and Grandma is in a home so female influences have dwindled with the passing of time.
You're all invited to
arroz con gandules (rice with pigeon peas)
Lechon (roasted pig)
Pasteles ??? sort of like tamales but with plantain mix and meat wraped in a plantain leaf and boiled
Tres leches (Cake drenched with coconut, condensed and evaporated milk)
But if you would prefer Turkey with stuffing, cranberry jelly, rice pilaf with pumkin pie we can do that also.
Get a tatoo.
I'm in my 50's NOOOOOO!!!!!!!
Read, watch TV and surf the net. I love reading Biography's and historic events also read Sci-Fi. Battlestar Galactica is my latest must see can't be disturbed while watching show.
