Rode the bench in sports but still had a great time being the best teammate I could be. Really enjoyed being in plays. I got to know a lot more people than if I'd just done sports. Intramural basketball senior year was fun.
It would have been interesting to be on the debate team. Wish I hadn't been so shy with
girls. Our class had, and still has, so many lovely ladies. It would have been nice to go to a dance!
My Mom & Dad's business (Klein Luggage and Leather Goods) took up lots of time. But I still bagged groceries at a couple stores and also
worked at Hanny's.
My brother Joe and I had a red Duster. I was
Starsky and he was Hutch.
See above comments on shyness with girls.
Funny, conversational, clueless.
Funny, conversational, slightly less clueless.
I was voted least changed at our 10-year
reunion. I probably still haven't changed much.
I wanted to be the next Bob Costas (a sports
broadcaster). I did sports play by play in college and for a while after college.
That while I'm far from the coolest guy on the planet, I'm not the doofus I thought I was from time to time in High School.
London, England. I took my two oldest children
there (Bob & Shelly). What a great trip!
Jesus, Lincoln, Ronald Reagan, Jackie Robinson,
Jerry West, Winston Churchill, Mother Teresa,
Ted Williams, Shakespeare, Benjamin Netanyahu.
(I consider Mother Teresa "one of the guys.")
Boy, this question is REALLY deep...
I'll say "The Artful Dodger" from Oliver Twist because I got to play him in High School.
Visit Jerusalem.
Well, other than the fact that I should be smarter now, I wouldn't mind being 30 again. Tim Bungum
(Mayo class of '76) and I played touch football against a bunch of JM kids in their early 20's the
day after Thanksgiving (2008) and after that I could barely walk and my right shoulder was killing me. Still looking for the positive in all that.
I follow sports and politics. I love to read.

Mike, still love your grad pic !! :) Hey, too bad about Jim Scheid. Hope you were able to make it to his wake/celebration of his life up in the Twin Cities today. I had all my kids and grand kids home to Rochester this weekend so I wasn't able to make it. My wife, Jeanne and I will probably stop by and see John and Helen sometime this next week. Bill
