Michael Leighton Grant

Well, first off, for those people who knew me prior to ’92 and are scratching their head, my name was MICHAEL LEIGHTON back then.

Graduated from Lawrence University in Appleton, WI as a Theatre Major (Bio Major originally. After college I went to Chelsea, Michigan and worked for Jeff Daniels at his Purple Rose Theatre (fantastic experience!).

In ’94 I packed a couple of bags and headed to L.A., where I was hired by New Regency Productions. I worked in Business & Legal Affairs for NRP for 5 years, and continued to do theatre (over 30 productions) and film crew work.

In ’99 I moved to Moonstone Entertainment where I am the Director of Production & Marketing (no time for theatre anymore). At the Cannes Film Festival in 2008, we established a new company as a joint venture with Producer Jay Firestone, called Prestige Films. I am the Director of International Sales and Distribution for Prestige now as well as my Moonstone hat.
