40th Reunion Planning Survey NEW

Dear Cardinal Mooney Class of 1985 Classmate or Friend,

Here is what we have planned so far for our 40th Reunion Weekend:

Friday, July 11, 2025 Spencerport Bowl Pre-Reunion Gathering Opportunity; Food, Drinks, Fun

Saturday, July 12, 2025 40th Reunion Evening Newport Yacht Club 6pm

We have always tried to do things up very nice for our reunions to make them special gatherings. For our 40th, we would like to do the same. We have a great venue thanks to classmate Stephanie (Nelson) Dickman and her husband Doug, and we just need to determine how well we are going to be able to do things this time around. We did a $1,985 Cardinal Campaign 5 years ago which allowed us to keep costs reasonable and gather when most were not. We even did a formal extended-reunion gathering the year after when it was safer to gather. Will classmates help us with another successful Cardinal Campaign? If yes, we can do things more first class and plan for that. If no, we have to plan a little more modest an event. How many people will possibly attend? It is getting difficult to gauge more and more. We would like to estimate 60-80, but it could be more like 40-60. We always try to be responsible with the money. We try to keep around $1,000 on hand after the reunion to maintain our website and cover startup costs. We should be able to do that just fine if a Cardinal Campaign is successful. Good news! We still have $875 left after our two events in 2020-2021 and our website maintenance.

We just need to try to get a gauge on where our class is at. We are the only class to gather every five years since we graduated. How shall we gather for our 40th? How many of us might gather? Please help us by filling out the simple survey:
