Lyn Jackson wanted to share these pictures with the class taken at their home in Maggie Valley. The bear visited Bob's feeder several times.  These are fabulous photos, Lyn, thanks for sharing!

Thanks for your hours given to locating "lost" Bearcats, Cheryl.  I am sure I am only one of many grateful for your efforts.

George, I speak for all of us when I say your encouragement means so much. It's not easy sometimes competing with Facebook and keeping things moving in a positive direction.  We appreciate everyone's input and contributions!  Would love to have more pictures of our classmates.  Kay

I really appreciate Cheryl searching for long lost classmates.  I had often wondered what happened to Linda Snyder after high school.  I was sad to learn that she passed away in Texas back in 2002.  She was a good friend at Northside Elementary.  If I remember correctly, she lived in the house at the corner of North Confederate and Pickens St. across from Confederate Park.  Some kids along there went to Northside and others went to Central.  Somehow I remember that she moved to Texas.  Sad news.

I just reconnected with fellow classmate, Dianne Ludlam who is living in Rock Hill. Dianne and I were friends in high school and lost touch after high school. She was living in Dothan Alabama at the time and I had headed north. Fast forward and I just got off the phone with Dianne who I Iocated on FB. It was like no time had gone by and we were chatting away sharing our stories, etc. We plan to get together soon for lunch.

Dianne has a request to fellow classmates. She is asking for prayers for her older brother, Wayne who is 79 years old. Wayne and his wife Betty were diagnosed with COVID19 on election day. Betty is back home in Ocean Lakes, SC but Wayne is in a self-induced coma on a ventilator at the Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach. Several members of Wayne's immediate family have also contracted the virus but are at home. Please pray for Wayne that his lungs will be healed and for his family as they go through these next few critical days and weeks.

Dianne shared she would like to join our website and asked for my help to make that happen.

David and Cheryl reported they received a server error message when logging in. I have sent a message to the website host company, Class Creator to see if they are aware of any system issues. Will keep you updated.

Dianne Ludlam just called asking for prayers for her brother, Wayne, who has COVID and who is on a ventilator. There has not been any improvement since early November. The next 48 hours will be critical to see if  her brother responds to treatment. Let us all pray Wayne will take a turn for the better and come off the ventilator.

Wayne Ludlam, older brother to Dianne Ludlam passed away today at 3:01 pm. Wayne was 79 years old and diagnosed with COVID. While in the hospital on a ventilator he developed pnemonia and did not recover. Keep Dianne and family in your prayers during this difficult time of loss. Updates will be posted as we learn of them.

I am praying for the Ludlam family that our merciful LORD grant them comfort during this time. Wayne was my good and faithful friend. I'll see you in a little while Wayne.

Wayne Ludlam
October 17, 1941 - November 20, 2020

Rock Hill – Mr. Harry Wayne Ludlam, 79, passed away on Friday, November 20, 2020 at Grandstrand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach.

The graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at Grandview Memorial Park – Cherry Road with Revs. Larry Nivens and Sam Christopher officiating.

Born in Conway, SC, Mr. Ludlam was the son of the late Harry LeGrande Ludlam and the late Eloise Harrelson Woodward.  He was also preceded in death by his sister, Donna Chantron; and his stepmother, Bernice Hammond Ludlam.  As a very young man he had a very special relationship with his grandparents, Stanley and Sudie Ludlam.  He was a man of faith and never failed to tell someone about Jesus.  He was gifted with evangelism and started the Marble Ministry.  He was a man full of laughter, jokes and stories and never had a bad day!   He enjoyed a deep love for his family and was a tremendous caretaker to his extended family.  His cousins were like brothers and sisters to him and he was very generous to many people.  He loved riding his motorcycle and he was a member of Fort Mill Church of God.

Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Betty Watts Ludlam; his son, Keith (Lauren) Ludlam of Rock Hill; his daughter, Tanya Ludlam Myers of Rock Hill; four grandchildren, Erica Schneider, Justin Morgan, Zachary Ludlam and Alexa Ludlam; two great-grandchildren, Gracie and Luke Schneider two brothers, Ralph (Nancy) Ludlam of Rock Hill and Mickey (June) Pace of Myrtle Beach; two sisters, Dianne Ludlam of Rock Hill and Debra (Heyward) Cook of Mullins; and many cousins.

Out of consideration for the family, please call one of the family members if you would like to visit or bring food.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mr. Ludlam’s name to Clover Christian Fellowship, 1521 Jim McCarter Rd., Clover, SC 29710 or to Heart Secured Ministries, PO Box 1534, Fort Mill, SC 29716.

Daniel Webster

Thank all of you for thinking of me on my birthday. I wish I could learn to be better at social behavior but I have not achieved that. Now that Mary Jayne is not here to drag me to functions I tend to go to church and necessary shopping and stay home. I am very blessed by God to live in Ocean Lakes where I can ride the golf cart to the beach and around the park. If any of you are down this way I would love to have you come by to visit. I will show you around the park and maybe we could grill something.

Daniel, do you want me to send you a half dozen great grandchildren for the holidays? I could use a break and you need the company.
