Update from David on his son. Keep the prayers coming.

We saw his surgeon last week and we got a good report. At the rate David is improving he will possibly be able to go back to work in 12 to 18 months if he continues to improve.

He sleeps a lot. The doctor said that is normal for traumatic brain injury and stroke as bad as his was.

He is making progress a little at a time.

Thank you all for your prayers,

David and Wyliie Ann Sealy

Thx for update, Becky. Keeping David Michael on my daily prayer list. Gotta see that "boy" come back all the way, but it's always one step and one day at a time. May God grant merciful and empowering daily bread (and also to dad David & mom Wylie Ann).

Marsha Yandle (Nelson) passed away last night after suffering a stroke last Thursday. Please keep Marsha's family in your thoughts and prayers.

Her son posted on Facebook that as of right now, no funeral arrangements to announce due to Marsha's wishes for cremation. However, any event will be private for family and very close friends.

I'm guessing this is an Easter Sunday in the days of yore with all the pretty dresses, bonnets and the corsage on the teacher, and don't those young men look good!

Definitely Easter Sunday at the Armstrong home!

What absolutely wonderful photographs some of you all have posted. Absolutely love the photos of Mama Horse & her we little color-changing foal. Great flower photos also so appropriate for this beautiful time of year (pollen withstanding). And, Kay, your photos from Easter of yester-year do indeed bring back memories.

Always sad to read about our classmates, some spouses & even children that are being taken from us seemingly way too early, but on this Easter Sunday rejoicing that death has finally been defeated and yearning for the day when evil will be forever vanquished and death's sting no longer felt. He is risen!

George, love your new picture! Precious grandson!  K

Is the Easter photo from St. John's?  That looks like Steve Wrenn on back row and Sammy on the front row.

Kay Manning (Elrod)

Janice: Yes, it is St John's. The picture was submitted by Dee Ratterree some time ago and she could not identify everyone in the picture. Hopefully, some of our classmates can be of assistance.  Steve was identified. Are you in the picture Janice?

Submitted by Deanna Ratterree Nobles, St. John's Methodist Church (around 1952 or 1953)

"We were 4 or 5 years old Sunday School Class

In the picture:  Me, Rocky Evans, Suzanne Buddin, Sammy Russell, Charlie Busby, Miles Elkins, Dora Hailey, Steve Wrenn"  -   see if you can find these people. Let us know if you recognize any of the others.

Beckie Littlefield just checked in. She is 2nd from the right, front row!! Thanks, Beckie!

Hey, This was my church but not my class or some of us weren't there that day.  I do recognize the teacher; I believe that is Mrs. Edwards.  She had reddish hair and she and her husband always sat just a few rows in front of us during the 11:00 service.

Jimmy Winchester's photos are wonderful--beautiful wildlife, lovely flowers.  Thanks, Jimmy, for sharing your art.

Jimmy just added more pictures, many of old Rock Hill. They are great!  Enjoy!

Jimmy, I love the Rock Hill pictures. I recognize so many houses and buildings from way back when. My dad worked in the Winthrop building (Tillman) and, of course, we attended WTS (one of the most significant buildings in Rock Hill -so beautiful!) Janice's church at Christmas-time is lovely.  Thanks so much for sharing.

Sadly, I just found out that Paul Sprouse lost his son, Stephen, in February.  Please keep Paul and the family in your prayers.

Sprouse of Columbia; step-sister, Amanda (Chris) Kissiah of Hartsville and step-brother, Lucas Farmer of Hartsville; children, Meredith Ann Sprouse of McBee & Blake Sprouse of Bethune; also surviving are aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews.
