Message from Ken's neighbor September 7, 2016, informing us of Ken's death:
I live across the street from Ken here in Raeford, NC and became a close friend. I regret to inform you that he passed away on August 1, 2016 from natural causes. He had been hospitalized since December 2015. I just felt you should be informed. Respectfully, Ginger

9/8/16 - The following is part of a note that was sent to us by Ken's neighbor/friend, Ginger, who joined our web site to view Ken's artwork.
"Thank you so very much for your consideration, I enjoyed looking at Ken's artwork. I was surprised he had included the two paintings he had done for me. One was my deceased husband's portrait and the other was him feeding seagulls in the park just before he passed."
