Worked 37 years in public education, 3 at Clemson, 2 at the state department of education, 2 at RHHS, a few at Rawlinson Road Middle, and the rest at Northwestern. Was hired three different times at Northwestern. Was hired as a cycling instructor at the YMCA

After high school track practice, a few of us knew one of the hallway windows that did not lock properly. We would bump the window and it would pop open. We would go in and drink the cold water from "C" hall fountain. Years after I graduated from high school and college, I would pull the same trick after a long run or a work out on the track. I guess it did not dawn on me at the time that I could be arrested. Glad I stopped that practice while I was ahead. Years later, I remember showing my daughter at a Sullivan Middle school open house the same window and telling her my cool water story.
