I joined the Navy out of High School and served with the Marines in Desert Strom. I was married in 1992, which is the same year I joined the family business where we specialized in manufactured housing and disaster relief contracting around the country. I was elected to the Rockford City Council in 2000 where I continue to serve. In the spring of 2005 I left the family business and joined K. Hovnanian Homes to be the Project Manager of Land Development and is where I continue to work. As a parting note I am currently running for Mayor of Rockford (I think if you asked most of our teachers back in school who has least likely to be a mayor they may have answered Greg Altringer).

Parties, girls, friends, sports, and in case I forgot, parties, every day in school could have been a favorite story.
