Did any of you ever catch George's magic act? I remember how surprised I was when I first saw in doing magic tricks in about 7th grade. He was really quite good.
I remember George hanging out at the bowling alley. He was quite a good bowler and a good friend. When I got out of the Navy in 1964 I went to the Bowling place to see if anyone knew where he was. Could not find him. He was a friend and I will miss him. Pete
George and I were good friends in High School and it was at my River Lanes he hung out in the 70's and early 80's. Sadly George suffered a work related injury and became basically homeless in the time period and he would come into the lanes for a free coffee and surprisingly he could really shoot pool very well.
