Seems 50 years goes so fast.
I graduated from Hillsdale College and got my Master's from Kent State
Taught in Cleveland Public Schools for 17 years and then a friend and I decided we hated the winters and moved to Northern CA.
Taught in Sacramento area at a Christian school for 10 years and then subbed in the county I live in. When offered my retirement I took it.
During this time we acquired another friend and we bought 10 acres in the Sierra foothils and designed and built a house and barns. We decided to be back to the landers and have a couple of goats for milk. The couple turned into many. We raised and showed Lamancha dairy goats selling and shipping show stock all over the country. When my health dictated that I could not longer help do chores we slowly got down from high of 70 to about 15 goats. Now we enjoy them as pets and sell their offspring for meat.
Love N CA. So close to so many neat places like San Francisco and Tahoe. Very little snow here nothing like Ohio.
