Melinda was very active in the early Reunion Planning Committee and continued throughoutthe years as she was able. Her husband, Frank, always graciously came along and added significantly to our planning efforts. It was fun to see them occasionally at Captain Curt's Oyster Bar where the Sarasota OSU Alumni Club met to watch footbal games. Melinda will be missed.

Melinda was a long time friend and that friendship expanded when my wife Faye and I met her husband Frank at one of the reunions. Since they lived just up the road in Sarasota during the winter and we are here year round in Naples we saw a lot of each other. She went through a lot with her heart problems in the last few years but always seemed to bounce back. It is hard to think that she is gone. A wonderful friend to the end. She is missed.
