Due to Covid-19 (strange world for everyone) we didn't get to have the big celebration for Jerry as planned. It was private family only. If you knew Jerry in RRHS he never changed and if you like to read about him you can go to West Harpeth Funeral Home in Nashville, TN and read about him: accomplishments, facts etc.

It's silly, but I remember that all the guys in the clsss were jealous of Jerry because he was driving before any of us.  And he had a great car to boot!  On top of that, he was cool and never made a big deal of it.  Nice guy.

I can't remember Jerry ever being in a bad mood. I'm sure he wasn't always "up," but I never saw that side of him. He was truly a nice guy. I wish now I had spent a bit more time with him.

Jerry was one of my best friends in High School.  We used to work on our cars together in his Dad's construction garage.  One day it was cold outside so someone got the bright idea to start up the tractor that was inside the building to warm up the building.  After about 15 minutes we all (about 5 of us guys) were feeling bad so we opened the garage door and put the tractor outside.  We still felt bad and I remember we all laid down in the snow until the carbon dioxide wore off.
