Jim was very bright. I remember when in second grade at Wooster School, he came to our class from the first grade because he was at the second grade level. We were all very impressed!! I think he remained among the top of our class throughout the years.

I was with Pat and Jim and so many others at Wooster school. I remember when he got his hole in one.. That was the day!!!! He loved golf. Jim was my date to the senior prom and I have wondered many times what he was doing and where he was. Most of my classmates from grade school have been located and when one is missing you always wonder what happened to them. Sadly several from grade school have already passed away and it's then that you realize how short life really is. Thank you so much for the update.

In high school Jim became very active in DeMolay and we had fun venturing to a State conventions in Cincinnati and Dayton. The Cincinnati trip was the first long car trip for either of us without parental guidance.

Neither of us got any sleep and in the dead of night Jim located a laundry that sold us a grocery bag full of soap. When the city fountain in the square came on in the morning the street became filed with bubbles and foam.

I can not recall him not smiling and being witty.
