PARSON, Richard “Rich” — Age 49, of Elm Mott, Texas, formerly of Roseburg, Oregon, passed away early on Tuesday morning, October 12, 2004, in Waco, Texas. Mr. Parson was born on July 8, 1955, in Roseburg, Oregon, the son of Albert and Mary Ann (Kisters) Parson. He graduated from Roseburg High School in 1973 where he was an All State Basketball Player and to this date the basketball records haven’t been broken since he played. He then moved to Texas to play for the University of Texas Basketball Team and graduated from UT with a degree in education and received his Masters degree from Hardin Simmons College..
