 WIGGINS, Kathleen Sue (Robins) — 51 years, of Cheshire, Oregon, passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2006. She was born on December 13, 1954, in Roseburg, Oregon, to Robert and Margaret (Fisher) Robins. Kathleen was baptized and later confirmed at St. George ‘s Episcopal Church in Roseburg. She attended public schools in Roseburg. She attended public schools in choir and in the band. She placed 3rd in the Sate High School Solo Competition playing the oboe. She attended Southern Oregon University on an Oboe Scholarship later changing to a Music Education graduating in 1977. She taught music in the elementary schools in Gold Beach, Oregon, Roseburg and Junction City, Oregon. She also taught elementary classes in Junction City. She played in the Lane Community Orchestra, quartets and ensembles. She was active in the Folk Dance group in Junction City and The Scandinavian Festival, serving on the Board of Directors. She enjoyed travel with her father to England, Scotland, and Norway, the Northwest. Contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
