Barnard (Brian) Morrison VIEW PROFILE

Brian, age 63, was born in Calderbank, Scotland to James and Catherine Morrison. He passed away Sunday, Feb. 19, 2017 at Peace Health Hospital in Vancouver, WA, with his family by his side. At the age of eight, the Morrison family moved to Terre  Haute, Indiana. Then at 11 years of age, the family moved to Roseburg, OR. Brian graduated from Roseburg High School n 1973. Brian was a happy-go-lucky, could accomplish anything he set his mind to, kind of man. He enjoyed going to State fairs, Bumbershoot, traveling, and evenings with the Rifleman, John Wayne,  Andy Griffith and his wife Sylvia. Brian spent all holidays and vacations with Sylvia and the family. Brian loved being silly and playing with the grandkids. Brian was always ready to give them advice. Brian was a great dad, grandfather, brother and soul mate. Brian worked building bridges for Wildish Construction Co. from 2003-2005. He then worked for Cascade Bridge LCC as a crane operator from 2005 until he retired in July of 2016. Brian is survived by his wife, Sylvia; children, David Deleon, Sasha Martinez, Daphne Martinez and spouse Derek, Deide Collins and spouse Jonathan; six grandchildren, Derek, Dreyton, Darius, and Davin Martinez, Mia Deleon and Amori Martinez; brother Jim Morrison and his wife Sheila; niece, Laura White and spouse Kyle; nephews, Steve Wassom and wife Stephanie, Ryan Morrison and Randy Morrison, and  spouse Amber. Brian was preceded in death by his parents, James and Catherine Morrison; and brother William (Bill) Morrison. Babe, Barney, Brian, Grandpa gave us all unconditional love, courage and hope. He said he can't go through life without the seven P's (Proper, Prior, Preparation, Prevents, Piss, Poor, Performance!!!).
